The Valar Taurë, the “Gods of Strength”, abandoned the people of Endorë, the “Between-earth”, against the command of Eru, because they had not heeded their Call and had listened to the Enemy. Because of this, the fate of the people was unfortunate – the Dagar Ghul, the “Servants of Evil”, came to them and enslaved them. Distressed by this, Eru hid the Gods of Strength in the “Herin Duath”, the “Outer Circle”, as punishment.
