They are believed to be either an Ancient Dragon, an Immortal Mage, a Knight forged from the Starlight, or even the Ghost of a Forgotten King. But on a mystical level, (((the Seven Banners))), woven from primordial light, represent fundamental principles or virtues: Courage, Justice, Wisdom, Temperance, Faith, Hope, and Mercy. The Keeper is the embodiment of the power that protects these ideals from the forces of Chaos and Darkness. These forces formed the Seven Mystical Realms, each of which flourished under the rule of its own banner. The Keeper’s job is to travel between the seven realms, ensuring that the Banners remain pure and protected from the influence of Chaos. If even one banner is desecrated, his realm will fall and Chaos will be able to break through the gates that sealed his forces. The Keeper is a lonely, weary guardian whose only mission is to prevent the end of the world.
